McDaniel Yacht Basin features more than 20 acres of well-protected anchorage and has more than 200 wet slips, 31 of which are covered, 12 are reserved for transients, with another 10 or so dedicated for sales.  The marina can accommodate boats with a max LOA of 70 feet, and a max beam of 18 feet.  The site has capacity to store more than 400 boats on land.

The marina boasts a loyal customer base.  In addition to offering convenient access to the Chesapeake Bay, the marina provides a variety of boat storage options, repair/maintenance services, and many customer services.

 

McDaniel Yacht Basin was established in 1929 by Dick McDaniel and was purchased by Tom Trainer in 1954.   Galahad Marine Properties purchased the marina in 2016 as part of a portfolio of marina properties.
