2006 Mainship 34 Trawler

Mainship, an American boat builder established in 1977, has been a leading manufacturer of production trawlers for more than 30 years. The Mainship 34 Motor Cruiser is often referred to as the "Mainship Trawler", and although the design somewhat resembles this genre, this is not a trawler. The single engine, semi-displacement hull form with deep forefoot and a long deep keel actually more closely resembles Down East-style workboats and cruisers. Trawlers are often referred to as blue water cruising boats because they're well-suited to handling rough water and offshore conditions.  Taking a Mainship 34 Trawler down the Intercoastal Waterway to the Carolinas, Florida or even out to the Caribbean is a very realistic goal, even for those new to cruising.
